April 2010
Atlantic Climbing School owners Pete Fasoldt and Eli Simon are featured in a Slate Magazine cover story by John Dickerson! Check it out on Slate.com. The article, titled Risk: the Story of America's Greatest Idea, discusses their exploits as rock climbers and describes the human nature behind it all.

ACS co-owner Pete Fasoldt recently returned from a six month cross-country climbing trip. He spent the majority of the off season in the desert southwest where a temperate winter climate offers superb rock climbing conditions. He did not, however, miss a chance to climb in his all-time favorite spot, Yosemite, where he conquered El Capitan twice amongst other classics. His other go-to winter rock climbing areas are Bishop, CA; Indian Creek, Utah; Red Rocks, Nevada; and the Red River Gorge, Kentucky. Click HERE for photos!

Atlantic Climbing School would like to introduce Thorfinn Expeditions as its new affiliate. Through the expertise and experience of both outfits, single and multi-day climbing/sailing packages are now offered. Imagine- rock climbing in the morning with an ocean view then sailing under a fresh breeze in the afternoon; or perhaps sailing up the coast of Maine while rock climbing along the way. Stay tuned for course details.
